Financing Program Focused on Diversity Grants 2nd Loan

Improvements are coming to a Kansas City area school district! A second loan has been granted from the Diversified Contractors Growth Fund (DCGF) to Caedmon Construction and Electrical Co. DCGF is a unique financing program that allows Port KC and its partner AltCap to provide financial, educational and training resources to certified minority and women owned contractors (MBE/WBE/DBE).

The funds for this project will be used for the installation of a new electrical system into Ruskin High School and the Hickman Mills Freshman Center, both within the Hickman Mills School District. Caedmon Construction and Electrical Co. is also a veteran-owned company.

The goal of DCGF is to build the capacity of Kansas City minority and women owned contractors to maximize their participation in building the Kansas City region. For more information on the fund, please visit this link.
